Signs That You Are Pregnant – 9 Symptoms To Check For
If yоu are lоoking fоr іnfоrmаtiоn оn signѕ thаt уоu аrе prеgnаnt, yоu hаvе definіtеly cоmе tо the right рlаcе. Thiѕ аrtiсle will tаkе a lооk at the mаіn ѕymptomѕ of рregnancу, ѕо thаt уоu can get a goоd idеа whether оr not іt іs worth taking a prеgnаncу tеst.

One of the first things you might notice is that you get a tingling sensation in your nipples. This is because your hormone levels change, causing an increase in blood supply to the breasts. This symptom will fade away as your body becomes used to being pregnant.

Another thing you may notice is that you get pink or brown spots in your knickers or when you go to the bathroom. You may also lose a small amount of blood around the time that you would normally have your period. You may also experience cramping sensations. None of this is anything to worry about and is all part of the process.

Feeling sick and vomiting are also common symptoms, although it doesn’t happen to everyone. If it does happen it is likely to be when you are about 4 to 6 weeks pregnant. Also, despite the name “morning sickness”, it doesn’t just happen in the morning; it can happen at any time of the day or night.

Once you have been pregnant for about 6 weeks, you may find that your breasts feel swollen and tender. It’s similar to how they feel before your period, but more intense. It’s also common to see blue veins just below the surface of the skin. This should subside as your pregnancy progresses.

Also around the 6 week mark you may find yourself needing to pee more often than normal. This is due to the increased amount of blood in your body, as well as hormone changes and your liver working extra hard. It’s only a problem if you find it burns when you pee, in which case it might mean you have a urinary tract infection.

Fatigue is a common symptom during pregnancy, and it is no wonder seeing as you are growing another human being inside your belly! You may feel so exhausted that you just don’t want to do anything, but this is fine, it is just your body preserving energy for the growth of the baby.

Around the 8 week mark you might notice that the areas around your nipples (these are known as areolas) are darker. This area may also become bumpier than normal, and your nipples may be more erect than normal too. You may also notice that your vulva and vagina become a deeper shade of purple-red.

The classic pregnancy symptom is definitely the food cravings. So if you find yourself desperately wanting to eat chocolate covered with mayonnaise, don’t worry, you’re not going insane. Some women also report getting a strange metallic taste in their mouth. Again, this is nothing to worry about.

Of course, the biggest indication that you have become pregnant is that your periods have stopped. If you are normally pretty regular and then they just suddenly stop, this is a pretty clear sign that you are pregnant. However, before you jump for joy, it’s best to confirm it with a home pregnancy test.
